The Regina girls cross country team placed fourth at the River Valley Conference meet on Thursday at Kicker Soccer Complex in Iowa City.
Class 2A top-ranked Monticello cruised to the team title with 35 points while fourth-ranked Mid-Prairie was second with 91 points.
Cascade finished third with 100 points while 2A No. 13 Regina was fourth with 141 points followed by North Cedar with 155 points.
Freshman Kennedy Scott led Regina finishing 17th in a time of 20:43.34 while sophomore Molly Vittetoe placed 19th in 20:48.01.
