Regina looked every bit like a top-ranked team in its season opener on Tuesday.
Class 2A No. 1 Regina opened the game on a 25-2 run and built a 53-13 halftime lead on its way to a 71-21 road win over Durant in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup.
Mary Crompton poured in a game-high 22 points and Alex Wiese added 10 points for Regina which led 35-3 after one quarter.
Crompton was 3-of-5 from 3-point range and Kennedy Wallace hit a pair of triples as Regina finished 5-of-11 from beyond the arc.
Sarah Lehman added nine points and Wallace and Alex Lehman each had six as nine different Regals scored.
Durant dropped to 0-3 with the loss.
