Regina Goes 3-1 at Burlington Notre Dame Tourney

Regina followed up its first loss of the season on Thursday with a 3-1 showing at the Burlington Notre Dame tournament on Saturday.

Class 2A No. 13 Regina defeated Centerville (21-14, 21-16), Keokuk (21-14, 21-7) and Danville (21-11, 21-12) and fell to Fairfield (21-10, 21-5) on Saturday to improve its season record to 9-2.

Sarah Lehman had 10 kills in the win over Centerville and Katrina Chambliss added four kills.

Grace Swenning had 24 assists and three ace serves while Katelyn Murhammer led Regina with nine digs.

Against Keokuk, Alexa Lehman led Regina with four kills while Ellie VanLandschoot posted two kills.

Swenning had nine assists, six digs and four ace serves in the win.

Katie Dunn added six ace serves and Emily Bonnett had five as Regina posted 16 ace serves as a team.

In the win over Danville, Sarah Lehman had six kills, seven digs and three ace serves and Chambliss had four kills to pace Regina.

Swenning had 15 assists and Murhammer had three ace serves as Regina finished with 11 aces.

In the loss to Fairfield Sarah Lehman had five kills and Alexa Lehman had three.

Swenning had 11 assists and two ace serves and Clare Dunne had six digs.
