Brinkman, Milder Claim Titles at Regina Invitational

Jared Brinkman and Nick Milder won individual titles to help Regina to a fourth place finish at its own invitational on Saturday.

Brinkman improved to 14-0 on the season with three first-period pins on his way to the 285 pound title while Milder moved to 14-1 on the season with a tech fall of Pekin’s Keaton Baayen in the 170-pound championship.

Regina finished with 100.5 team points while Mount Vernon won the team title with 201.

West Branch was ninth with 48.5 points.

Henry May finished second at 113 pounds, Mason Simpson added a third place finish at 182 pounds and Rowan Udell was fourth at 195 for Regina
