Top-ranked Regina continued its impressive start to the season on Tuesday.
Class 2A No. 1 Regina opened the game with a 17-4 run and never looked back in a 60-24 win over Mid-Prairie (1-3, 1-2 RVC) in a River Valley Conference south division contest in Wellman.
Sarah Lehman led four Regina players in double figures with 14 points as the Regals improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in RVC play.
Regina has outscored opponents 189 to 73 during its 3-0 start and hasn’t allowed an opponent to score 30 points.
It was all Regals from the beginning on Tuesday.
Regina led 17-4 after the opening quarter and closed the first half on a 16-2 run to take a 39-10 halftime lead.
The Regals then opened the third quarter with 16 straight points to push the margin to 55-10.
Alex Wiese had 12 points for Regina, Mary Crompton had 11 and Greyson Dumont chipped in with 10.
Kennedy Wallace added nine points for the Regals.
