Regina will enter 2017 unbeaten.
The Regals made sure of that on Monday, wrapping up their December schedule with a 71-38 win over Benton Community (1-6) in a non-conference contest at Regina.
Sarah Lehman had 19 of her career-high 23 points in the first half as Regina built a 51-18 halftime lead.
Alex Wiese had 15 of her 17 points in the opening half that saw Regina bolt to a 25-4 lead after one quarter.
Lehman and Wiese both grabbed seven rebounds as Regina improved to 8-0 on the season.
Mary Crompton added 15 points and Kennedy Wallace had seven for Regina which scored at least 70 points for the fifth straight game.
