Regina Wins Second Straight Ahead of Holiday Break

After a 2-3 start to the season, Regina heads into the Holiday break with momentum.

Regina posted its second straight impressive performance on Monday, shooting 55 percent from the field in a 63-57 non-conference win over Benton Community at Regina.

The win was the second straight for Regina (4-3) and comes after the Regals shot 55 percent and scored a season-high 76 points in a win over West Branch on Friday.

Jocoa Kerschen led three Regina players in double figures with 18 points while freshman Even Brauns added 16 and Ryne Schooley had 10.

Freshman Masen Miller added eight points and Jake Phillips had five points, five assists and three steals for Regina.

Tyler Eggert had a game-high 24 points to lead Benton Community while Spencer Touro added 18 and Luke Wiebel 13 to account for all but two points for the Bobcats.
